Tonali’s debut delight (2023-24)

Sandro Tonali marked his Premier League debut in goalscoring fashion as Newcastle United claimed a thrilling 5-1 win against Aston Villa at St. James’ Park last season.

The Italian midfielder, who arrived from Serie A side AC Milan, became the club’s fastest goalscoring debutant after netting inside six minutes before Moussa Diaby's strike levelled the clash for Unai Emery's visitors.

Alexander Isak quickly restored United's one-goal cushion and after the Swedish frontman's terrific chip further extended the hosts' tally, strikes from Callum Wilson and Harvey Barnes, the latter making his competitive debut for the Magpies, rounded off an emphatic victory for Eddie Howe's side.
